Catholic Men's Fellowship
We have started a Catholic Menís Fellowship Group here at St. Malachy Parish. The mission of the group is to provide a means by which men of
the parish can increase their spirituality and deepen their understanding of our Catholic faith in a relaxed, collegial format. Meetings will
be held on a bi-monthly basis in the Parish Office Meeting Room. Each meeting will consist of an opening prayer, followed by a discussion of
a topic from Signposts (which is developed for menís fellowship groups), as well as reference to and readings from the Bible and Catholic
atechism, and a closing prayer. There will be breakfast and coffee available and some special time to allow for interaction with your
fellow parishioners. If you have been looking for an opportunity to grow in your faith, please call Dan Trocchio at (412) 352-1227
or Carlos Turcios at (412) 720-8417.
The Christian Mothers provide support and assistance to all women in the parish in spreading the Gospel and living an exemplary life.
Meetings are held the third Tuesday of each month.
Knights of Columbus
The Knights of Columbus is a lay Catholic family fraternal service organization.
Membership in the Knights of Columbus is open to all practicing Catholic men. One of the primary missions of the Knights of Columbus is to
support local charities. The Knights are a familiar sight around town during the annual Tootsie Roll drive, which raises funds for charities
that support the mentally challenged and handicapped. The Knights also support other fundraising drives to aid local parishes and charities.
The Knights of Columbus promote family values by providing numerous activities throughout the year in which the entire family can participate.
Additionally, the organization provides an opportunity to ensure that a brother Knight and his family is provided for at the time of his death.
Marian Prayer Group
The Marian Prayer Group is a group that makes reparation to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary. Prayers are said to console these loving hearts, for
the salvation of the world and the intentions in the parish book of prayer requests. Join and learn the beautiful and powerful Chaplet of the
Tears of the Blessed Mother to obtain conversions and pardon.
St. Vincent de Paul Society
The St. Vincent de Paul Society assists the poor in our parish and community with material needs by praying and working for their welfare.
The group meets the first Tuesday each month.
